Newtownhamilton district LOL boosts charity funds
Charity boost from Orange brethren
Newtownhamilton District LOL No 9 were praised on the recent presentation of a cheque for £3,000 to the Grand Master, Most Wor Bro Harold Henning, for his charity appeal for this year, namely Dementia NI.
This represents the proceeds of a number of events held over the Summer months, including the very successful County Armagh Twelfth demonstration in the village in July.
The first photo shows the Grand Master receiving the cheque from Wor Bro Samuel Courtney BEM, Worshipful District Master, accompanied by Rt Wor Bro Denis Watson, County Grand Master, and his Officers, also the Newtownhamilton District Officers.
The principal County Grand Lodge Officers were delighted to be present to offer their thanks to the District on hosting a tremendous 12th July.
The second photo shows the brethren of the District at the very well attended quarterly meeting in Aughnagurgan Orange Hall. All officers were re-elected for another year and the District had another good increase in membership
