Yvonne’s new nursing role
A Keady-born nurse has been climbing the ladder of her profession in England.
Having passed her State Enrolled Nurse examination at the Lagan Valley Hospital, Lisburn, in 1975, Yvonne Williamson moved to England to take up a nursing position in Darlington.
After 20 years working for the NHS, the former Miss Wilson, from Carnagh, took the opportunity to further herself academically and studied for a Diploma in Nursing Studies at Teesside University.
After successfully completing the course and examinations, Yvonne is now working as a deputy matron in a private residential home in Darlington.
Her family, friends, and former nursing colleagues back home take this opportunity to wish her every success and happiness in her new nursing role.
